Upside to NYU Printing Policy: Printing From Your Own Laptop

Apparently there’s actually an upside to NYU’s new printing policy — you don’t have to wait in line if you print from your own laptop. Now that is actually convenient Moonlight serenade download. Gee NYU, thanks for not letting us know earlier.

• 1) On your laptop, go to: http://www.nyu.edu/its/print/your_computer.html
• 2) Click on http://software.nyu.edu, enter your Net ID and password
• 3) Download ITS’s “Print Service Software”
• 4) Make sure you’re connected to NYU wireless
• 5) Print by selecting “ITS Print Service” from the drop-down menu
• 6) Click OK, enter your Net ID, tag the document, and send
• 7) Within 24 hours, go to the nearest NYU printer/lab, skip the line, swipe your card, and print.
