This Week In Dining: Restaurant Night, Snapple, and Too Much Peanut Butter
By Kami Dimitrova
- Dining Services has created a survey that polls student’s eating and spending habits. As an incentive, they are offering students the chance to win a Mastercard Gifcard.
- Notorious Restaurant Night, or what NYU Dining calls “a fancy feast for only one swipe,” will be held in Rubin on March 1 and Palladium on March 3. Each month, students look forward to have one day away from their all-too-familiar dining options. They can enjoy serviced tables with a three-course meal eaten on a bleached-white tablecloth …it gets fancy, folks. RSVP via rubindining@yahoo.com and palladiumcafe@yahoo.com.
- If you are that one person who lives in the nineties and still drinks Snapple, you’re in luck. Those mini-shops set up in Weinstein, Hayden, Palladium, Rubin, and Third North — apparently called C-stores — are offering a Snapple 6-Pack for $5.99. Don’t go crazy, now.
- Lastly, the Weekly Eats have been announced and from the looks of it, your arteries are already crying:
- “Peanut Butter Lovers” day is on March 1st, with a menu including all that is peanut-y and buttery: Peanut butter at the salad bar for celery sticks with peanut butter; Pasta salad with Thai flavored peanut butter dressing; Peanut butter & jelly pizza; Make your own peanut butter and jelly sandwich. White or whole wheat bread, creamy peanut butter, grape, raspberry or strawberry preserves, marshmallow fluff, raisins and sliced apple all at the dessert station from 11:00am to 10:00pm; Peanut Butter Cookies
- 6-Foot Subs at Weinstein on March 3rd
- Philly Cheesesteak Every Tuesday at Palladium
- Steak Night Every Wednesday at Rubin
- Hot Wings Every Wednesday at Weinstein Dining
