The Zodiac Signs as NYU Schools

Every wonder what your school would be in the zodiac? Well then, today’s your lucky day!

Law School-Aries

Personally, I find the idea of going to law school incredibly courageous, which turns out to be one of Aries’ biggest traits. Both are full of people who are enthusiastic (I feel like you’d have to be for all that work), goal-oriented, and natural leaders. Both love competition (again, if you don’t why are you in law school) and being first. Clearly these two were sculpted in each other’s image.

Wagner School of Public Service-Taurus

Wagner is a contradiction: public policy and urban planning are two of the biggest studies at the school, two things that can either go hand-in-hand or completely against one another. Taurus is a contradiction too: hard-working procrastinators, stubborn yet easy-going, and practical dreamers. Both are full of people with grounded perspectives and yet both also see the world as how it could one day be, not how it is. They may be full of contradictions but we love them anyway! (Full disclosure: I am a Taurus who works for Wagner, but I know I’m right. You all love me…right?).

Gallatin-Gemini

Gemini is known for having multiple sides, something that is certainly true of Gallatin’s individualized study program as well. Like Gallatin, Gemini are determined to take their lives in the exact direction they want to go. Both Gallatin and Gemini are open-minded as hell, versatile, and a match made in heaven.

Global Liberal Studies-Cancer

GLS is a confusing school. There are plenty of students who are actually in GLS…and then there are the students who are just there until they figure out what they actually want to do. This inconsistency can be seen in Cancer as well, which is why they’re a perfect match. Like Cancer, GLS enjoys the security of a school like NYU, while going on adventure all around the globe. Like Cancer, GLS can be tough to figure out first, but once you do, you tend to like what you get.

Stern-Leo

Both Stern and Leo have one major thing in common: high self-esteem. Like Stern, Leo’s also determined, dominant, and have little difficulty in achieving their goals. Just like Leo is “king of the jungle”, so is Stern as the unofficial “king of NYU”. Both tend to hold their heads up high and refuse to let themselves be torn down by anything (or anyone) else.

Tandon-Virgo

Like Tandon, Virgo is very much about the mind and is the most analytical sign of the zodiac. Both take a methodical approach to life and prefer practicality over anything else. Like those in Tandon, the Virgo sign is all about working hard, paying attention to little details, and working at bettering oneself, which is why these two were made to be.

CAS-Libra

Like the sign of the Libra, CAS is full of ambitious, hard-working students. They’re peaceful and they hate being alone; considering CAS is NYU’s biggest school, this certainly shouldn’t be an issue. Libras are also known to get along with everyone; seeing as CAS is the most popular school for double-majoring and gen eds, bridging the gap between Tisch and Stern, it makes total sense that CAS is a Libra.

School of Professional Studies-Scorpio

Both SPS and Scorpio are kind of intense and hard to get to know. They’re natural questionnaires and like to make some sense out of everything. They’re very resourceful and assertive, and they like to do research to find out the truth. The mysterious nature is probably the biggest thing SPS and Scorpio have in common, though.

Steinhardt-Sagittarius

Like the Sagittarius, Steinhardt is vibrant and full of life. Both like to have as many experiences as possible, and they share an intense curiosity. Steinhardt is completely it’s own thing-it’s not quite Tisch, not quite CAS, much like how Sagittarius likes to do their own thing and hates being constrained.

Med School-Capricorn

Capricorns and med students have a major thing in common: both are incredibly ambitious. They are also responsible (saving lives!), disciplined, and they tend to be a little more serious in nature. They’re solid and realistic. You can always depend on either a med student or a Capricorn.

Tisch-Aquarius

Much like Tisch, Aquarius doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. Both are eccentric, artsy, dramatic, and tend to think outside the box. Both feel very limited and constricted in day-to-day life and desire to shake free of that. They like being in communities, yet also enjoy their time alone as well.

Silver School of Social Work-Pisces

Like those who are in Silver, Pisces has a sensitive and friendly side. The two contain people who are both good listeners and incredibly selfless. You can expect to find people who are intuitive and full of wisdom. Basically if you want a good friend, go find either a Pisces or a Silver student.
