Mystery Concert Lineup Revealed! Vic Mensa, SOPHIE and Tei Shi To Perform

kyla local thingy

It’s our first day back at school, and you know what that means. Freshmen in lanyards clogging Washington Square Park, luckless students being assigned a novel to read before next class, and at least a person or two idly thinking about the fact that their classes in the Brown Building are happening right in the spot where a bunch of women burned in a garment factory fire back in 1911.

But enough with the doom and gloom! NYU Local and NYU Program Board are here to brighten your first day of school by revealing the acts that will perform at NYU’s annual Mystery Concert.

After a few weeks of swirling rumors we can officially announce that this year’s Mystery Concert lineup: Vic Mensa, SOPHIE and Tei Shi. A serious shout out to Program Board for absolutely killing the line-up this year. From rising Kanye-collaborator Vic Mensa, to the over saturated pop beats of the semi-anonymous SOPHIE, to the summer vibe slow jams of Tei Shi, this concert is going to be one to remember.

Mystery Concert happens tomorrow, Thursday, September 3 at Skirball Center For Performing Arts. Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. The event is only open to NYU students. Tickets are free with a valid NYU ID and are given out on a first-come first-serve basis. Seriously, get there early before the line gets insane.
See you there!
