Prop 8 Passage Means Gay Marriage Should Wait

Let the yelling commence…this time at me. I just so happen to agree with Mike and the substance of what he wrote about in his column about Prop 8. That’s not to say that Mike is some sort of sad, misunderstood artist who needs sympathy; rather, I think everyone’s missing the boat here.
Most likely due to the polarization of the last 8 years, our generation has a hard time accepting the fact that not everything is so black and white, or perhaps in this case, red and blue. Allowing gay marriage isn’t as easy as amending a law on a piece of paper. Permitting it would change the health care system, the legal system, and tax codes. It would also raise the question of just how much the federal government wants to expand its services. Continue…
