Welcome to the new, non-beta NYU Local! As you can see, the Opinion section has undergone a pretty serious change of format. Whereas the beta Opinion section resembled a more traditional print Op-Ed section, with columnists who posted twice a week and a lot of longer, more traditional-style pieces, this time around we’re embracing the group blog format Something is killing tate download. Instead of columnists, we now have these strange creatures called “bloggers” who “blog” shorter, more informal pieces with links and such. It’s truly a brave new world.
Anyone is free to contribute a guest post, and we’ll be inviting special celebrity guest bloggers every once in a while, but we’ve also got a stable of regular bloggers, who are sort of like columnists except for fresher and with better haircuts. And also their posting schedules are more irregular, so you’re going to want to either subscribe to our RSS or check the site obsessively as to avoid missing a single post.
Anyway, without further ado, the columnists:
You may remember Charlie Eisenhood and Chris Kennedy from last semester. They’re joining us once again, with Chris blogging from NYU Paris. New to the team are Sam Zients of LOLSAM, Joe DiGrigoli and Pat McGovern. And, of course, I will continue to do whatever it is I do here.
Remember that this is your section as much as ours, so as always, feel free to continue the conversation in the comments or with a response guest post. Anyone with an nyu.edu email address can submit a post for our approval, and the best ones will go up in the contributed pieces section.
