The video is a little misleading. The Open Library is only a small part of what the Game Center offers. There are multiple classes, talks, and events offered each semester that focus on examining games and video games as a medium and as cultural pieces. The faculty is top notch and there are numerous guest speakers that visit. There is also a game design conference called PRACTICE that is in its second year and a MFA program with its inaugural class.

Definitely one of the best things at NYU.
