The annual Hoboken Music & Arts Festival took place yesterday on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Street. The festival was a classier and more artistic version of the weekly street fairs that pop up all over Manhattan on weekends. It was a very family friendly event with moon bounces, children’s interactive performances, and arts & crafts tables – as well as extremely pet-friendly “doggy water” bowls with vendors who sold leashes and animal treats. There were dogs in strollers, babies in strollers, and everywhere you turned someone was wearing a football jersey representing his or her team. Photos by Rachel Kaplan.
