  As the (recently) former president of NYU College Dems, I don’t think these ladies look silly or ridiculous at all. Although I obviously don’t agree with their politics, look how much publicity the club is getting. Clearly half of it is the fact that the former president and apparent hostess of the sleepover is NYC royalty with a ton of influence and connections, but I would have loved to get half as much publicity for any event we ever did. And I don’t think it’s all negative either. They’re showing their support in a fun and creative way. I’m sure the Gingrich campaign would love to flaunt this display of youth support, considering most right-leaning young people support Ron Paul (For instance, Gingrich received only 3% of the under 30 vote in NH, 5% in Iowa, and 28% in SC…all behind Paul).
