Entire Hayden Floor Determined to Gain Entry to 19+ Show at Webster Hall Tonight

The entire fifth floor of Hayden will definitely be able  to get into an ages 19 and up electronic show at Webster Hall tonight, sources say. Floor members will assemble in the room farthest away from the R.A.’s room  around 10 p.m. to pregame with Pride and Clarke vodka purchased by Ashley, 18, with her fake California I.D. At roughly midnight, the group of about 30 teenagers will walk to the club on 11th Street and line up outside the doors. Measures are being taken to ensure that those who are not yet 19 will totally not be left behind if they can’t get in; an elaborate passing-back scheme involving Sarah’s “really good” Maryland I.D. is currently in the works.

Floor skeptic David, 18, was one of the few to voice dissent. “I don’t know, man,” he said. “Webster Hall can be tough. I have a friend who knows someone who had their I.D. taken away there.” David told NYU Local he was staying in tonight to “chill and smoke with some of my buddies from Writing the Essay.”

Tension is beginning to rise on the fifth floor as the large number of people without I.D.’s  becomes more apparent. “Dude, like, half of our floor isn’t 19 yet,” said David. “And then out of them only like half have I.D.’s. Webster Hall sucks anyway.”

In Ashley and Sarah’s room, the girls discussed the viability of high heels for the event ahead. “I don’t want my feet to hurt,” said Ashley.

“But if The Culture of Me takes my picture, I want to look hot,” said Sarah. Her responses were barely audible over the din of loud Vivian Girls music coming out of Ashley’s Bose speakers.

In the Hayden dining hall, a suite of fifth-floor boys met over vegan meat and chocolate chip cookies to debate whether or not it was better for the 19-year-olds to use fake I.D’s or to play it safe and use their real ones. Nick, 19, came out in support of using fake ones, pointing out that he doesn’t want to even go if he can’t drink there.

He added that he’d recently heard of a “delivery service that will like, bring coke to you if you call them” and suggested that the group call the number  he’d obtained from a sophomore friend later that night.
