AEPi Rocks (A Chair) To Save A Child’s Heart

Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), the Jewish fraternity at NYU (I am a member) started a pretty cool charity event last night to raise money for “Save A Child’s Heart,” whose mission is “is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from countries where the heart surgery they need is unobtainable.” Fraternity members “will rotate sitting in a rocking chair for 48 straight hours to raise money,” starting last night at 6pm, according to Jordan Fine, one of the organizers. The rocking chair is rockin’ outside Weinstein and yours truly will be sitting from 7:30-8pm tonight. The minimum goal is $2,800 but the hope is to raise closer $5,000. Above is a quick video I shot last night as they were getting started.
