Unfortunately, towards the end of Welcome Week, NYU starts to slack. The programs during the day start to get a little weak, so start your day slow and wander over to Bagel Bob’s for a toasted poppy seed bagel with cream cheese.

West Village Walking Tour – 1:00 PM – Kimmel Lobby – While walking around the West Village is awesome anytime, taking a guided tour is a great way to learn about the amazing history in this non-gridded, beautiful part of Manhattan.
Stressbusters Back Rub And Health Bonanza – 4:00 PM – Kimmel 405/406 – Whoa it’s a bonanza! Bountiful amounts of health! Free back rubs are good though – not sure I want a bonanza of them, but it could be cool.
Casino Night – 8:00 PM – Kimmel, Rosenthal Pavilion – Fake gamble but win things anyway. It’s the way casinos should be. Play craps – avoid the hard ways and put odds behind the line. Roulette is for suckers.
Magic Show – 10:00 PM – Kimmel 802 – The magician, Patrick Terry, went to NYU. It’s here he learned his famous money disappearing trick.
Tip of the day: Make friends with your dorm security guards.
