Surprise! NYU was named the fourth most hipster university last week by Huff Po, which defined the term “hipster school” as “place where the pants are tight, the hearts are bleeding, the conversation is postmodern and gender is nothing more than a social construct.” You had us at “pants are tight.”
NYU was out-hipstered only by Hampshire College, Wesleyan, and Bard. Clearly, our glasses are not thick-rimmed enough.
