Remember a few days back we told you about that Titus Andronicus/The Beets/Algernon Cadwallader show at Kimmel? It rocked harder than the combination of all of our expectations. There were dislodged teeth, yelling mouths openly bleeding, and moshing that put Philly hardcore shows to same (perhaps credit is due to Philly imports Algernon Cadwallader).
In any case, the Program Board’s success at booking and pulling off this show can most accurately be judged by the severity of Four Loko stench emanating from the Kimmel bathrooms. It’s severe. @ lauren: absolutely. their set was incredible. a single tear ran down my face as I took pictures instead of moshing.
I don’t think when the entire mosh pit and them alone stops to let a guy crowd surf it’s really crowd surfing. More like just carrying someone.
