Jude Law Versus Freshmen

Jude Law moved onto Washington Square Park. NYU freshmen live on Washington Square Park Vampires vs zombies download. As you might imagine, students go crazy when they spot him. Sometimes, Jude throws fruit back at them.

My questions include: why would Jude Law be so stupid as to hurl citrus at students? That’s bad press, dude! (Dude, Jude.) Why did Jude Law move to the park in the first place? And from the looks of that picture, Law wears yoga pants tucked into tube socks. Did he have to fire his stylist or something?!

Jude Law, quit being a rotten apple (fruit joke) and accept the fact that if you live among fans—especially fans who came to the city partially to see people just like you—you’re gonna attract attention. Whether or not you think the students’ behavior is appropriate, I imagine that his real estate agent mentioned the presence of thousands of college students, right? For now, though, I guess you could say that students fought the Law, and the Law is probably just expressing frustration that he hasn’t gotten any good work in a while.

Washington Square News got a great quote from a student:

LSP freshman Bryan Hall said he feels bad for Law.
He said: “He moved in next to a freshmen dorm, so he’ll always be ogled by freshmen girls.”

He says that like it’s a bad thing!

And it’s nosy and inconsiderate NYU kids like the ones you mentioned that gives NYU such a bad reputation to the people outside our school. Just because he’s famous doesn’t give us license to act dumb. No wonder people call NYU the cancer that is killing Lower Manhattan.

I imagine that it would get grating to deal with kids like this every day, especially from the privacy of my own home, yes. I just think maybe he should have expected this and chosen somewhere he could get a little more privacy?

I used to live in that exact room in Hayden mentioned in the story, with the perfect view of that apartment. We used to watch the tenants’ super classy parties and even communicated with them sometimes. It’s pretty obvious you don’t get much privacy there.

Also, being a teenager in New York City is a perfectly legitimate reason to act dumb, especially when you live next door to a celebrity. Calm down.

I saw him walking on W4 and of course I left him alone. He was great and humble, even answered a question from a Tisch student at the Hamlet stage door. The Hayden kids are being annoying, he had a right to do that.

No one has a right to throw citrus fruit at anyone else…I mean the whole thing is absurd and silly and who cares but I’m a little perplexed that anyone would champion Law’s “right” to hurl fruit? Isn’t it illegal to drop anything out of a window in NYC? Whatever.
