Doctorow will be appearing at Kimmel tonight, with a special introduction from NYU Local favorite Jonathan Safran Foer. Doctorow is an incredibly prolific author, penning classics such as Ragtime and City of God. He’ll be reading from his new book, Homer and Langley, which got great reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, though Kakutani was none too thrilled. Critics aside, I’m sure it will be an awesome event; it runs from 8-10pm at the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium in Kimmel.
