A city water main near Kimmel broke yesterday afternoon. The city Dept of Environmental Protection — which is the city’s water supply agency — was working to repair it as of yesterday.

The dining operations were interrupted, but most of the other activities in the building — including, I believe, the performance in the Skirball Center — went forward. The outage also caused a water shut-off at D’Agostino, the Law School building just west of Kimmel on the Third St. side.
