Pogge is currently Leitner Professor of Philosophy and International Affairs at Yale and Research Director at the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature at the University of Oslo.

Pogge’s lecture is the first of this year’s NYU SHARP Lecture Series, a student program that hosts globally recognized speakers throughout the year. Given the climate around the recent health care debates, this particular lecture especially seems timely. In other words, as SHARP members succinctly phrased it in their Facebook event: “You do not want to miss this lecture…”

The lecture is free and will be in Silver room 207 at 7 p.m.
