Apple gave consumers the iPhone to make life easier and generally more interesting Prime evil download. NYU gave students Albert to make life more difficult and generally more frustrating. Fortunately, a student from last year’s computer science course “iPhone Programming” managed to successfully transfer Albert onto the iPhone, making life – as in, course registration – much more tolerable.
The iPhone app “NYU Courses” not only lets users to check course statuses and view their schedules, but also allows students to actually register for classes. A neatly organized menu enables users to access their transcripts, final grades and degree progress reports. Because when you’re bored during lecture, you definitely want to check out how many credits you still need to graduate.
The best perk of “NYU Courses,” however, is the fact that the app DOESN’T LOG YOU OUT IF YOU STOP LOOKING AT YOUR MONITOR FOR TWO SECONDS (not literally, but your time expires on Albert after 10 minutes of idle use). Nope, no more frustrating logging out and logging in just to register for a course. Somewhere, Albert – whoever he may be – is turning in his grave.
Plus, the app is only $.99 in the iTunes App Store. So save yourself a few gray hairs and purchase it immediately. If you’re a Blackberry person, you can go cry and play some more Brickbreaker.

This alone makes me seriously want an iPhone. Screw Blackberry.
The fact that Albert does not have a search courses by proffessor option is mind bogglingly frustrating.
