But Hillary’s speech isn’t free, she’ll be walking away with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree. It’s sort of like NYU’s version of an Oscars swag bag.
Also receiving honorary degrees are Playwright John Patrick Shanley, bad ass White House Journalist Helen Thomas, Nobel Prize winning Physicist Albert Fert, and Health Advocate Jessie Gruman.

This is really awesome. This must be NYU’s gift to the ’09ers who, as I’m sure they know, have a really shitty chance at getting jobs in this economy, even with their $200,000 degrees. We in 2010 will prob have the same problem, but without Hillary to redeem it. We’re all fucked! Woo!
