Attempted to climb a ‘No Parking’ sign in front of Kimmel and was pulled down by a group of NYPD police officers and taken into a squad car. NYU student Jordan Meisner knocked on the police car window, asked why his friend was being removed, and was told by a police officer that Alex was being arrested for striking a police officer.. Not that I’ll be heavily believed in the anonymous forum of the internet, but I was watching the guy that got taken down before anything happened. He was supporting himself on a barricade hanging from a sign when he was taken down from behind by several cops violently and brought to the ground with excessive force. He made no efforts to strike a cop in any way at all, unless his flailing arms made contact while he was being manhandled to the ground.
Shenanigans declared.
