762 More NYU Students May Actually Vote This Year

The NYU College Democrats registered 762 new voters during their three hour onsluaght in dorm lobbies across campus last night. Equipped with laptops, absentee ballot request forms and  National Voter Registration forms, the College Dems set up shop from 7 to 10 pm, ensnaring unwitting passersby such as myself in their web of earnestness. Really though, they made the whole thing incredibly easy and, according to club president Neal Schecter, last night was NYU’s most successful voter registration drive ever.

Full disclosure: I actually participated in this voter drive, which is one reason why you won’t see any mention of it in the National section.

I may register to vote…through Facebook, which is slowly coming to control every aspect of our lives.

so does this mean that i get to go to skirball and sing along with ben gibbard to a lack of color, the new year, summer skin, and (my new favorite) cath…???
