As the recount marches on in Minnesota, the Franken campaign said today that Coleman’s lead has dropped into double digits. This is not a verifiable claim, because they are basing their numbers on what’s been recounted and what contested ballots they believe will be easily called for Franken. That said, it’s a pretty encouraging number for Franken, particularly because the ballots counted thus far have been from “disproportionally Republican areas.”

It’s going to be a very, very close finish.
