Looks like we’re never not in an election year. Terry McAuliffe is gearing up for a run at governor of Virginia next year. McAuliffe is most famous for being a former head of the DNC (just like Howard Dean!), but some of you might know him better from his most recent gig: a teeth-gnashingly irritating surrogate for the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The video above might refresh your memory. Yep, this was the guy who, as the primary season dragged on, plunged deeper and deeper into the depths of denial. It would have been high tragedy if he had been any more sympathetic and any less annoying.
Which leads me to believe that if he ends up trailing behind in the race a couple weeks before the election, we can look forward to some really fascinating media appearances.
