Ah yeah misunderstood you on Pakistan, thought you were saying Obama's statement back in the spring was irresponsible. Especially rich of them considering we executed a drone attack in Pakistan a few weeks after he said it, pretty much doing exactly what he proposed.

As for clean coal, agreed, but it is "cleaner". As long as China and India are going to be firing up another coal power plant every few days it would seem to be a technology where we could take the lead to at least improve the use of coal. Though as far as I know it's not commercially viable until the '20s, so its probably moot. Hopefully by then we'll have gotten off our ass on nuclear.

The Pakistan thing is pretty self-explanatory. Obama said during the primaries that if he had actionable intelligence that Bin Laden was in some caves on the outskirts of Pakistan and Musharraf was unwilling or unable to send troops in, Obama would do it himself - which Clinton and McCain deliberately misconstrued to paint it as something wild and irresponsible. Which, coming from McCain's foreign policy team, is pretty damn rich.

As for the clean coal thing: clean coal doesn't really exist. It's still damaging to the environment.

I'm just going to replace every time they say "precondition" with pie... so that I can imagine Ahmadinejad not being aloud into the white house with pie. There. Infinitely more interesting now.

Re: McCain's inability to pronounce Ahmadinejad: I think it's written somewhere that it's illegal to attack a country, despite their distasteful activities, if you can't pronounce their President's name.

Obama should win if only because he can actually pronounce foreign countries correctly: Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, etc.
