Once the happiness abated a little, I just kept thinking, “Please don’t fuck this up, Obama.”

I’m also–100% serious–worried for his life. Checking out the McCain Facebook page (which is really a great read now), I noticed a few comments to the effect of, “Gun sales will go up,” which may just be people not trusting Obama’s defensive capabilities, but the pessimist in me…well, I don’t have to say it.

Point is, I hope Obama stays safe. I know he’ll govern well.

My thoughts exactly. I am soo happy that Barack Obama was strong and confiedent to win the race. I truly hope that some bozo doesnt try to make there own history by taking the extremist way.

Our country needs change and our future needs to be looked at through a different set of views and I am proud to say this was my first time voting and I am glad that I was able to help make this change happen.
