The Social Network’s Jesse Eisenberg Discusses Mark Zuckerberg, Turning Down NYU from NYU Local on Vimeo.

If you didn’t already know, The Social Network – directed by David Fincher, written by Aaron Sorkin, and based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires, – screened last night at our very own Cantor Film Center. But before that, Jesse Eisenberg, who stars as Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, joined Fincher at the Apple Store in Soho to answer questions from audience members and moderator Peter Travers, Rolling Stone’s film critic. Here’s NYU Local’s exclusive interview with Jesse where he discusses turning down his acceptance to NYU in 2002, his thoughts on Zuckerberg, and his experience filming the new movie.

    Zombieland 2… now there’s a movie I’d pay to see in 3D.

Mark Zuckerberg has said he isn’t going to watch The Social Network, Jesse Eisenberg doesn’t watch his own movies… Is ANYONE going to actually see The Social Network?

I didn’t know Sorkin wrote this. It actually looks okay, but I won’t be running to the movies to see it. I will most likely wait for it to come to DVD.
