Hype about the Apple tablet has been, to put it mildly, absolutely rampant. Tech blogs and media websites have been speculating and drooling over this announcement for weeks. Gawker posted an article about the supposed Apple tablet nearly every day. They even launched a contest to see who could give them the best information on the tablet (and got served with a cease-and-desist letter instead). The New York Times thinks it’ll even save journalism. And all this without even seeing the thing! Jobs will be making his announcement at 10am PT (1pm here). We’ll be posting with more information after the announcement, but if you’re as geeky as we are, you’ll also want to follow the Gizmodo liveblog.

Don’t worry, I’ll be writing a think piece similar to my blogorgasm about the Courier. I’M SO EXCITED.
I’ll have the tissues ready…
@jessica.
The courier is so amazing, there’s no way i’d get a iPad over this.

Unfortunately the Courier isn’t an actual product yet as it’s still in development.
