NYU-Made Fashion Featured On “Gossip Girl”

Although conventional wisdom would once again dub Chuck and Blair as the shining stars in the latest episode of Gossip Girl, an unsung highlight actually came courtesy of an NYU student’s work. Framing Blair’s pretty little head throughout the Bass family’s coming out party was a handmade headband meticulously crafted by one of our own.

Gallatin junior Amee Carter and her co-founder, New School student Sabrina Bacon, create Pas Comme Les Moutons (P.C.M.), a line of individually assembled, high class headbands. Featured on the new 90210 and having adorned the likes of It Girl NYU student Peaches Geldof, the company is on the rise, even holding a trunk show at Henri Bendel last weekend. But providing a style icon like Queen B’s crown is in another league altogether.

The headbands—always the infamous accessory of GG’s popular posse—made an appearance earlier this season, worn by one of Blair’s unnamed lackeys, but successfully social climbed last night, gracing the head of none other than Her Majesty. See the fashion over at In Style.

P.C.M. headbands are for sale online via Owl’s Lab. Check out their blog here.
