Roman Pavlyuchenko, a Russian forward who has moved from Spartak Mascow in Russia to Tottenham Hotspur in North London, is one such face.

He is a player familiar to anyone who watched Euro 2008, but his exploits in the Russian Premier League are not as well known to us American fans. Strange, right?
