Though New York City food vendors have invoked a sense of solidarity by dubbing French fries after our new and widely-celebrated president, one notorious baker received his fifteen minutes of shame by creating the racist “Drunken Negro Face” cookie. The culprit and Lafayette French Pastry Bakery worker, Ted Kefalinos, was recently featured in Fox News’ addictive and humiliating “Shame, Shame, Shame” clip in which he spouted flagrant remarks regarding Barack Obama and African Americans in general. Kefalinos even went so far as to overtly suggest the president’s imminent assassination, comparing him to Abraham Lincoln: “He’s following in the same path as Abraham Lincoln. He will get his.”
The cookie, which, if I might add, doesn’t even appear appetizing, is an exaggerated representation of stereotypical African American facial features. I’d much rather bite into a crispy, salty Obama fry than this oversized, waxy concoction. Bulging red eyes, a spread nose, and thick, protruding lips characterize the face. Lafayette French Pastry Bakery’s customers were appalled by Kefalinos’ flippant, racist remarks. One woman stated that the baker offered her a cookie using the N-word. It would be impossible to concoct a Ted Kefalinos Face cookie because there’s not enough substance available to fill the baking pans.

Doesn’t really merit national status but it’s definitely a local thing to be aware of, hence its placement in the City section.

You know, it doesn’t much look like anything. Is he really meant to be a professional pastry chef? Geez, if you’re gonna take all that time and effort to make a racist cookie, do a good job at it. I bet Martha Stewart can make perfect looking hate filled cookies…

These are the kind of people we need to watch for…………..
OH GOD where to begin? The glorious stupidity of the baker (”no one compained about my dead geese bread!”) The reporter sticking the cookie in otherwise unaware people’s faces (”Does this offend you!? DOES THIS OFFEND YOU!? ISN’T THIS OFFENSIVE?!)” The white people acting horrified and the black people not really caring, the fact that he only talked to Jamaicans because he was afraid of some hood guy kicking his ass, not to mention Fox actually has a segment called Shame. Outlawing all non-essential news media should have been Obama’s first act as president.

I think the thing that outrages me the most is his denial of it being racist. If you want to make racist cookies, fine, that’s your right, but don’t pussy out when you get called on it.

Why is this even newsworthy? Why do they get to pass stuff off like this as “news.”
The media is just trying to evoke a response from people. This is stupid story about one idiot in a little bakery… Why is it worthy of being national news?
