I understand why this is annoying in principle, but I’m not so bothered by it that I’d leave the cab without paying.
If I’m with other people then we’re not paying attention to it anyway, and if I’m alone I’m either listening to music, crying, or both (LOL). So…yeah.

I’ve been in a couple of cabs where the screen IS turned off. But I’m guessing they’re a rarity.

they should be able to be put on mute… but you’re right, they never actually turn off…

If the TV won’t turn off – don’t pay and leave the Cab immediately.

They drive me batshit, especially when it’s like 4 in the morning.
