It’s pretty common for an airline to lose a piece of luggage or two during the frenetic process of checking in and keeping track of an entire flight of people. My mother has had the lucky fortune of it happening to her twice, so now she tries to skirt around the rules of the carry-on luggage.
But seriously? For an airline to lose an entire body? According to the New York Daily News, American Airlines just did that. It lost the body of the deceased wife of Miguel Olaya when he tried to ship it back to her home country, Ecuador. Sweetie, that’s not just plain negligence, that’s flagrant stupidity committed to mastery.
