James Franco on Waverly

James Franco was spotted toting a backpack about an hour ago on Waverly near Washington Square East. That coupled with the Franco sighting last week at Think on Mercer leads me to believe that Gawker was right, everyone’s favorite stoner is going to Tisch. Anyone sit next to him in class?

Stocking Your Dorm Kitchen

Pace Student Murdered

19 year-old Pace University student Kevin Pravia was strangled in his apartment Sunday morning by a 22 year-old man he solicited for drugs in Union Square. The two returned to Pravia’s apartment, where the suspect proceeded to strangle Pravia with an electrical cord before stealing various electronics. The suspect confessed to the crime after being arrested on unrelated charges. Moral of this story? Get your drugs from friends, not strangers in the park.

The Sophomore 16: World’s Most Useless To-Do List

Brought to me—and you!— by ‘More: The Sophomore Year Experience, the list is chock full of super-helpful suggestions that I never would have figured out on my own. Among them were the following gems: keep in contact with friends from last year, explore study abroad interests, explore study abroad interests (yes, listed twice) and assess your personal wellness.

As a mere sophomore incapable of common sense-based actions, I salute you, ‘More, for your helpful hints and enormous dedication to my sophomore year experience.

My Stolen Food Frittata

Stop wasting your meals plans! Even if you don’t care for the hot foods, take advantage of those containers and stock up on ingredients. It’s fun and a good way to experiment with recipes.

I found a recipe for a Sleeping Omelette while sifting through one of my favorite food blogs, The Pioneer Woman Cooks. It Essentially looked like a savory bread pudding, and I had recently had a really good experience with one of those at the General Greene in Fort Greene… eww redundancy. Anyways, it was a ham and gruyere bread pudding and it was AWESOME, so I needed to try making my own variation.

I went to Palladium and swiped two meals to go, and this is what I got: Continue…
