The bikes will be stored at two locations: one at the Seventh street residence hall, also known as the “green house,” and the other in a bike parking lot by Tisch Hall. Students would have to reserve a bike online and then simply swipe their NYU ID card for a three-hour rental on week days and 6 hours on weekends. Continue…

Sadly, the demand for Palin costumes (and the creativity the dwindling supply inspired) faced no competition from the vice presidential candidate’s opponent, as Biden costumes were completely absent from the costume scene.

Rallies will be held around the world on November 6th to protest the imprisonment of a young Egyptian blogger who was arrested two years ago for criticizing Egypt’s Al-Azhar University. From noon until 1:30 p.m., there will be a vigil held at the Egyptian Mission to the U.N. at 304 East 44th St to challenge the arrest and turn an unreported story of press repression into one that will receive global attention.
