“Journalists Are the Only Group That Can Make Lawyers Look Good”
“My editor wanted me to ask Angelina Jolie if she was still having sex with Brad Pitt while she was pregnant,” said Dave Karger to Jill Grossman’s journalistic inquiry class.
After 13 years of interviewing celebrities for article on Jolie. Apparently Karger fulfilled his editor’s request without actually asking the awkward question.

NYU Bike Share: Environmentally and Fashion Friendly
An american tail the treasure of manhattan island download.jpeg” alt=”" width=”267″ height=”200″ />A group of NYU students were awarded a grant to implement Bike Share, a program that will make our campus a little greener, and maybe decrease the bad rap the expanding student population has earned from our neighbors.
The bikes will be stored at two locations: one at the Seventh street residence hall, also known as the “green house,” and the other in a bike parking lot by Tisch Hall. Students would have to reserve a bike online and then simply swipe their NYU ID card for a three-hour rental on week days and 6 hours on weekends. Continue…

From the Costume Store to the White House?
Culture 11. According to writer Julie Sobel, “For the last 12 years, Halloween Spirit’s mask sales have eerily predicted the election winner.” In 2004, Bush masks outsold Kerry masks, in 2000, Bush masks outsold Gore, and in 1996 Clinton masks outsold Dole.
This year, demand for Obama masks grossly beat out the demand for McCain masks. Sadly, the demand for Palin costumes (and the creativity the dwindling supply inspired) faced no competition from the vice presidential candidate’s opponent, as Biden costumes were completely absent from the costume scene.

NYU Study: Jews <3 Obama
A country-wide survey of more than 3,000 Jews and gentiles found that a higher percentage of the Jewish population than the White population plans to vote for Obama (67 percent of Jews vs Gattaca download. 37 percent of Whites).
When Stephen Cohen and Sam Abrams, associates of NYU’s Berman Jewish Policy Archive, presented their findings at the Puck Building on Monday, my first question was, what’s the point of all this? Why do we care about the breakdown of Jewish voting tendencies? My question was answered when Abrams said, “You social democrats, you have a lot of work to do. This is not a population you have in your pocket.” Continue…
